This chair is purported to have a high weight capacity.  I'm not a small guy but I do know how to add and subtract, and the chair should have been quite substantial enough for me.  Instead, after a couple of days of use in the sand - e.g., sitting, reading and relaxing - the rivets all started bending.  After another day all of the plastic hinge thingys that secure the metal frame together began snapping and on the last day of my vacation the chair was toted from the beach and dumped in the dumpster - completely unusable.  

The only good thing was the price, which was low enough so that I didn't have to look back after I gave it the ol' heave-ho.  I have purchased higher priced chairs that had the same capacity claims and failed in the same manner, and I was more miffed.

If you're a heavier person, you'll get about 4 days' use out of this product.

I use this both for outdoor concerts and when at the beach.....a great thing about it is that it's designed to be a bit more comfortable then the usual chair (a bit wider)......the downside is that the very first time I used it a key connection pin bent and broke

practical and light weight to carry
