yes it is illegal now according to fina. maybe usa swimming will work something out but i wouldn't get my hopes up if i were you.

I used this for the first time at usms Nationals this weekend and was very pleased. What I am concerned about is the rumer that they are going to be banned soon. I purchased this product with the assumption I would be able to compete with it for several years. Do you have any information on this subject? Thanks, Lisa Werner
