My son loves these goggles. He says they have good peripheral vision (but he still peeks at the lane next to him) and never fog. I think the nose piece gives out too quickly, because I am buying too many of them!
I loved the original Vanquishers. The 2.0s are even better. You almost forget your wearing goggles.
Had a very tough time removing and replacing the nose piece, and actually bent receptacle. However, it still snapped into place and seems to hold fine. They are very comfortable and seal well without having to tighten the staps very tight.
I like the Vanquisher goggles. They are larger than other models so they don't dig into my eye sockets. I gave the 2.0 version a try and find them virtually identical to the previous one. The only difference is the side of the goggle which form a sideways "V". On the new model the thick V is slightly more recessed giving you a greater degree of vision. However, it is only a slight improvement and one which I don't tend to notice while I'm swimming. It's only when I bring both goggles and switch during my swim do I notice the difference. Nevertheless, it is an improvement so I'm sold. If, however, you are on a budget, stick with the old model. You're not missing much and the price jump for the small change is $6/$7 per goggle.
My daughter really likes these goggles. She used the Lady Vanguisher before these. She likes the extra view. Would benice in a little smaller size though.
