This suit seems to run large and is not that comfortable, possibly because of the way it is constructed. It feels like it's going to slide down too low on top when I swim laps. I bought another Speedo in the same size and it fits snugly. So much for sizes not being standardized -- but from the same manufacturer ???
The suit fit great. But when i swam laps in it water went in through gaps in the front. I did not feel comfortable swimming laps in it.
I do not have an overly short torso, but I would have preferred shorter straps in a suit whose straps make up the largest part of the support in the back. I'd recommend checking whether a size down has shorter straps before ordering this style again.
This is my second Speedo suit. I agree with the other reviewer that I missed the lining in the back. And compared to my other suit (very similar style in the same size), this also feels a bit short in the torso (I'm 5' 6") and a little lower cut in the chest (nothing scandalous but then I'm a B cup). These are relatively small things. Otherwise I love the suit, the colors, the make (love nylon, not polyester), the lightly padded feathered bra (modest and comfortable), and the fit overall. Totally cool for lap swimming, which is what I use it for.
Bought a size down based on other reviews and the fit is fine. I bought the pink suit, and it's lined in black in the front, no lining in the back. When it's wet, the lining makes the front look darker than the back. That's a disappointment.
I really like everything about this suit except that it does not have back lining. Suits last so much long when there is that extra layer in the back too.
