Seemed big for Ocean size 14.
I bought this suit for laps, based upon it's chlorine resistance and the other reviews that indicated the skirt does not get in the way. The bottom fit fine; it's a bit lower in the rise that I might typically wear, but not crazy. Also, the skirt does give nice coverage without being dowdy. The top had several problems for me: (1) no support (even though it has a soft cup bra lining); (2) very large around (which no doubt didn't help the support issue) and (3) the straps were really, really long and terribly thin and stretchy - so no support/control there either. I am a little long from the shoulder to bust line area and had hoped the tankini style would give me more length with the break in the middle. It did that, and even though I would show a little tummy moving around, it's not bad. Upside, the straps can easily be shortened at home on a machine, unlike some other swimsuit straps. I bought a 14 and do not think buying a 12 is going to solve ANY of these design problems. Just an awkward design and an unattractive cut for me. So, it goes back.
don't need a cover-up to feel comfortable in this suit
I like the fit
First time I'd ever tried a Tankini and while it was too small it also would not fit they type of activity I prefer. My fault but glad I tried, I'd always wondered.
I have worn this suit in the pool a couple of times. It is a great fit and allowes me to work out without my suit feelling like it is riding up. I really love the fact that it is chlorine resistant. My other suit turned brown (it was black). It was a good value since it costs less than retail.
