I use this and enjoy my workout. When you swim over an hour solid it helps to have tunes to lose yourself in. The only down side is the buttons are multi functional and hard to get used to. The product works it worth the money and makes my work outs fun.
It was not very intuitive to operate and then it froze up on me after swimming only 800 meters. I tried the reset and that didn't solve the problem so I sent it back.
Having just received my Freestyle MP3, I haven't used it in the water yet. I will address trying to program it. Very difficult. I had to consult someone with lots of tech knowledge to help me. I was very disappointed to learn that my hundreds of ITunes couldn't be downloaded to it. I bought it because the ad said it was compatible with music subscription services. Apparently this only means I can use ITunes to download some kinds of files but not ITunes. Very misleading.Depending on its performance when I get to the pool, I may very well wish I had not wasted 70 bucks.
Ear buds are not adequate. They do not block out outside noise, they don't stay in, you cannot cut them down to fit. Spend more money and get a good one. Not easy to navigate buttons. Wires to ear buds are very flimsy. Only a 90 day guarantee.
I can use it riding my jet ski, cutting grass or at work, being waterproof makes it good for any type of condition!
THE IDEA IS GREAT. BUTTONS ARE HARD TO PUSH. I HAD TROUBLE WITH MY FIRST ONE BUT SWIMOUTLET TOOK GREAT CARE OF ME AND RESHIPPED A REPLACEMENT IMMEDIATELY.IF I'D HAD THIS 30 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS A KID, YOU'D NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET ME OUT OF THE POOL
