First set purchased in 1978 and they finally split at the heels. Many years tearing up the waves. Now I have a new pair for my 13 yr old daughter and one for me too (dad) to have fun in the pool and the beach at Assateague, MD. Even the "fat" 53 yr old guy can still catch waves with these on.

These are great fins. I am catching waves more than ever. I do wish I would have tried a smaller size, they feel a little bit big.

Due to the shape of the fin it produces an uneven balance of propulsion that creates pressure on your knees. Works great for Bodysurfing not not for training.
