I bought these for a spring break trip and had a good time, with a few minor exceptions. I should also note that this is my first pair of snorkel gear, so I don't really have anything to compare it to.
Overall, the set is good. I used the fins bare foot and they didn't give me any problems. The first few times I used them I overtightened them, but I was able to adjust them very easily, even in the water with one hand.
The goggles had a comfortable fit, but they didn't stick to my face as well as I thought they should have, though no water got in so I think they were probably working fine. I really like how easy it was to adjust them, though at times the mechanism didn't seem to work. I figured out that there needs to be a bit of tension on the strap before it will loosen up (this also applies to the fins).
The snorkel gave me the most trouble. It has a tip that is supposed to automatically close up when you go under water to prevent it from filling up with water. While I can say that it never let water in, it also would sometimes close above the surface when I was trying to inhale. I would often come to the surface and try to take a deep breath, only to have the tip close and stop up the snorkel. One time I was particularly short on breath when I got to the surface and the snorkel closed, blocking my air. I instinctively spat out the mouth piece and tried to take a deep breath, but I was still under water and ended up choking on and swallowing a mouthful of salt water. I almost threw up because of that. Although I had a lot of trouble with it, my wife seemed to really like it. She used it a couple of times before I did and was quite surprised when I said I didn't like it, so we traded snorkels (her's didn't have that tip). It is entirely possible that it is a really good snorkel and I was using it incorrectly, but I think I will just stick with a regular snorkel.
Finally, the bag was somewhat iffy. The bag was a little small (just barely long enough for the fins to make a tight fit) and it didn't really seem to go with the set. It did look nice and felt secure when I was wearing it. However, when we went to the beach, we usually took more than just the snorkel gear, which ended up in a backpack and the snorkel bag was left at the room. It's nice though for keeping all the gear together for storage. One other thing with my bag, it came with a slight defect. One of the zippers on the little pocket on the front was reversed. Instead of --->===<--- I got --->===--->===. Not sure if that makes sense to you or not. I haven't tried to send it back because it was too close to the day we left for vacation that I noticed it, but I don't expect it to be a big deal.
Overall, I am happy with the set and I'm not trying to discourage anyone from buying it. It suited me well for what I was doing (recreation) and I don't plan on getting a different set (except trading snorkels with my wife).
(Note: My fins float, not sure what Tina's talking about. Maybe in fresh water they might not float, but in the ocean they did.)
