I'm wear size 38S suit jackets off of the rack and the size small rashguard was a great fit for me. Tight enough to hug my body and still allow full range of movement. It hasn't chafed me yet and has been pretty sturdy through a bunch of swim+wash cycles.
I use the product to go to my development pool. I am fair and do not want to get any more sunburns. I needed to get the Men's XL because the Women's XL was WAY to tight, however now the sleeves are way to long for me. I am sure it would be perfect for a man. Other than finding the right fit for me, I am very pleased. Julie Shuck

I swim an hour a day and needed something to protect my skin from the sun. Sun Screen washes off after 15 minutes, so I figured a rashguard would be a good solution. This rashguard is thick enough to protect my skin yet light enough to not weigh me down too much. I do notice it creates a bit of drag, but nothing to major. It could be a little tighter but I really can't complain.
wish i got xl
I used the rash guard at a water park over the 4th of July weekend to try it out. From a perspective of sun protection, it worked quite well. I didn't apply any type of sunscreen under it and had no sun-related problem. The real reason for the purchase is for an upcoming trip white water rafting. The source of the river comes from the bottom of a dam and last year, the water was absolutely frigid (45° F)! I'm hoping it will provide some additional insulation for this year's trip.
