I bought this for a petite woman. I got the smallest size, which I believe was a 4 or an xs. She said it was loose around her neck and waist area. We both seek an extra-snug fit (because merely snug or loose stretches too much in water), so it may be good for a small woman who doesn't want her rashguard to be very tight, but it didn't work for my 5'3" 100 lb friend.

It is snug, but not too snug in a size larger than I normally wear. I swim in a cold indoor pool, and this really kept me warm. I plan to order another one.

I am much warmer when I swim. First time my breathing seemed labored for awhile but now I don't notice I'm wearing a shirt. Great puchase, nice soft fabric.
