just tried it out in less than ideal conditions: choppy, windy, and closed out. water temp 58F, air temp 62F but very windy.
***THE GOOD:
-suit kept me very warm, the interior heat panel really performed well.
-suit was very good against the wind, i didn't feel it at all.
-VERY EASY to put on and remove. the super stretch material seemed to be only on the arms and the lower part of the legs. my ripcurl 100% super stretch was extremely difficult to put on and remove, by comparison.
-stitching on the wrists prevented flushing.
-openings at the ankles sealed GREAT on booties.
-lighter than expected
***THE NOT SO GOOD, (some is personal preference)
-no neck gaiter, some water would leak down my back on occasion. however, i probably could have tightened up the neck closure more, the velcro there is VERY secure.
-metal zipper. i don't like metal zippers and i don't trust them. they have a tendency to corrode and fail around salt water. it was also a bit difficult to use the zipper until i put some silicon lubricant on it.
CONCLUSION:
excellent excellent suit! i would rate it 4.5 stars because of the lack of neck gaiter. but it seemed unfair to give it 4 stars instead of 5 for just that one reason.
