The kids liked the squid until it was time to change the batteries.  You have to "pop" the squid open to access the battery chamber which was filled with corrosive battery acid water.  When my husband popped it open it sprayed battery acid water everywhere and it got him right in the eye.  We spent the rest of the night in the ER where he had to undergo a painful eye flushing procedure.  His vision has still not recovered.  I shudder to think what might have happened if one of my children tried to open it.  This product needs to be recalled.  BEWARE!!

This is a very cool and exciting toy! I have 2 boys, ages 2 and 5, and they both play with it in the bathtub and love it! It is very zippy and a little nutty, but a lot of fun!

Great prouct fot the tub / pool etc... My 5 year old loves all of the different animals. He will have 5 of them swimming around tub at same time. TIP - Open battery compartment so it can dry thouroughly after each use and they will last a long time. I forgot once and the battery corroded but it had been sitting for a couple of weeks without being used.

The squiddy toy squid is well designed and alot of fun in the pool and bathtub.The bright orange color is perfect, and shows up really well in the pool. I bought it for my 2 1/2 yr. old grandson. I am not sure who loves it more,him or me!

This water toy has a propeller. The package warns that long hair could get caught in it. It looks like fun but my granddaughters don't wear swim caps so I will return it.
