Bungee cords work great if you ever have problems with goggles falling off of your face or breaking regular straps. great buy!
As a fairly new competitive swimmer, my dives aren't the best, and many times my goggles would come off during the dive. I haven't had that problem once with these. The color does fade very quickly as others have said. (Maybe a few weeks of 2 hour practices a day)
Concept is good, but won't fit in either pair of goggles I currently own. Needs a thinner diameter.
Okay these are the BEST straps for competitive swimmers. And i dont use "best" to often. These straps can be adjusted to fit tight with swedes and anyone complaining about hurting your eyes are wimps. Swedes are suppose to be put on tight which is why they dont have suction gaskets, especially on races. I use mine for practices and meets. You have to sqeeze in the bungee cord into the hole on the swedes, these are compatible just a little fuss to get them in. They are awesome i have two pairs of these bungees to go with my 2 swedes. The color last long only if you dont swim in deeply chlorinated water like recreational pools. For pools used only for taking laps or diving were the chlorine levels arent that high to eat up the color. GREAT BUY!
They're pretty good. Goggles stay in place when you dive-which is the most important thing for me. But, if you make them too tight, you get that "fainting" feeling & head pressure. After all, they're comfortable.
The bungee strap idea is a good idea, but these straps can hurt your head, make that weriod bump coming out of your cap during a race (slower), and the color fades REALLY quick ( i got the yellow ones to match with my teams color...now its just a very light and ugly color.
