Does the trick!
By Kasey U. from Brunswick, OH on 1/31/2012
Size: Feels true to size
I swim laps at the local rec a couple days a week.  I am about 7 months and have been wearing a Nike 2 peice up until now.  After extensive searching, I could only find 2 maternity lap suits in existence.  This one is worth the money.  The material is good quality & it is fully lined.  About the size...it runs true to BATHING SUIT SIZES...in other words, I am always bigger in a lap suit than clothes.  All of my maternity clothes are small/medium, but I ordered a large in this suit going off the suggested size chart according to my normal bathing suit size (38) & it fits great.  So look at the tag on your normal suit, match it to the size chart & order accordingly & it should fit. This suit is not flattering or meant to lay out and look cute at the pool, but its wonderful for lap swimming, which is just what I was looking for.  The navy blue color is really nice.

Pleasantly Surprised
By Jaime K. from Jamestown, ND on 1/26/2012
Size: Feels true to size
When I first got the suit in the mail, I immediately noticed that the materials used are thicker than the usual fabrics they use in racing suits, so it makes it seem more durable. When wearing, I love the fact that I'm covered up top, which was becoming a problem in my normal racing suits... falling out the sides and top. There is a lot of room to grow and although I don't need it right now, I could see where it might be beneficial to have some added support up top.

Nice Suit
By SIlvana from Alexandria, VA on 1/25/2012
Size: Feels true to size
I needed a maternity swimsuit specifically for swimming laps once running became too uncomfortable.  Unfortunately, all the typical maternity clothing sites seemed to offer fashion two-piece suits.  This was the first website I found that had exactly what I wanted at fairly reasonable prices.   I've been using this suit twice a week for two weeks now.  I'm a pre pregnancy 6-8 so I purchased the medium.  I am currently 23 wks.  It fits well right now and seems to have some extra fabric in the belly to allow for growth (my biggest concern).  I'm still waiting to see how well it holds up in the wash but so far I am pleased with this purchase.

Good, not great
By cary from indiana on 1/24/2012
Size: Feels true to size
This is one of the few maternity suits built for swimming that I could find online.  I was 5'2" and 120ish pre-pregnancy, and I am pregnant my third child.  My belly gets huge, so I opted for medium.  I started wearing the suit at 19 weeks, and I definitely have room to grow.  The top of the suit is too broad and rubs on the front of my arms a bit.  This suit is good enough for lap swimming, but definitely not perfect.  I do find it to be sufficiently supportive all over.

Worst fitting suit ever!
By KB from Detroit, Michigan on 1/22/2012
Size: Feels too small
I bought this swimsuit to use for lap swimming. After reading the reviews, I purchased both the small and the medium, although the size guide put me solidly in the small. The size small fit okay on my 5.5 month body, but it didn't seem as though there was enough stretch to accommodate future growth. The suit did not rest against my skin in the back, causing gaps. The leg holes are tight and the the bottom did not fit well at all.

The medium seems to fit okay through the abdomen, with room for my belly to grow, but the top is quite loose. The suit actually gaps at the neckline. The leg holes are still quite tight. I don't have huge legs, but do a lot of long distance running, so my legs are muscular. The bottom still fits strangely on this too big suit.

In summary, I'm very unhappy with this suit and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If I weren't desperate for something I could use TODAY for swimming, I would return them both. As is, I'm keeping the medium. I'll probably wear a sports bra underneath it and just hope the gaping at the neckline does not cause too much trouble.

Good athletic suit for pregnancy
By A from Indiana on 1/11/2012
Size: Feels true to size
There's not many options for an athletic maternity suit so this one is great. Seems like in all the photos of this suit, the models are 8 or 9 months along so I was concerned this would be too big for someone like me who's only 5 months. However, it fits well now and has plenty of room for my belly to grow too. (I got a medium which fits well. I'm 5'6" and started pregnancy at about 140lb-- now I'm about 150lb)
I only have two complaints: the leg holes seem small and are a bit tight even though the rest fits fine. Also, it is cut pretty low in the back, which I'm not a big fan of.
