I bought it for prenatal water aerobics, and it is very practical for that purpose. I also think the cut is flattering. I agree with other reviewers that it fits a bit loose on top. I'm not sure how long the fabric will last - the first time I got too close to velcro the fabric snagged. Better be careful to baby this suit!
I bought this wimsuit to swim laps once I was in my third trimester. It fits great and is holding up well.
After reading the reviews I decided to order a medium even though I have a long torso, but I've had to return it for exchange because it pulls at my shoulders. I will get a large and hopefully it won't gap and collect water. It definitely rides up in back and the coverage "back there" isn't great but it will work because there are so few voices out there.
The length is good. Which says a lot considering I am 5'9. The girth around my growing belly is fine. There seems to be enough give to accommodate further growth in my belly. But some of us are not as well endowed as others. There is way too much fabric up top for me. I have an inch of fabric i can pinch under each arm from how much bust it accounts for that I do not have.
Feels like a speedo just a little roomier in the tummy! Hope it lasts 4 more months!
My only complaint with this suit is that I've had to buy 3 of them to last throughout my pregnancy. I swim 3-4xs a week (lap swim) so it gets a lot of use. With the expanding belly, it stretches out. Other than that I've been very happy with it.
