I'm no expert at swimming, but these are the first pair of goggles I've bought, and I am very happy with them.  They had good suction right out of the box.  I literally had to make no adjustments and they worked.  I tried loosening the straps because they seemed a little tight and left red marks around my eyes, but water started coming in, so I went back to the "factory default setting."

great for racing: no drag and never have leaked or fallen off in a swim meet.  OK for practice if i get to relieve my eyes now and then.  Serious raccoon eyes if i wear them for distance swimming.
Con: something eats away at the eye socket material, making it lose its shape and feel sticky as well.  Could be my sunscreen, chlorine pool, or salt water pool.

I just recently returned to swimming after a long absence and I had never previously used goggles.  My choice of speedo goggles was based on what was posted by other reviewers.  Fortunately, these reviews were very helpful.  The goggles are becoming more comfortable after each usage.  Fogging is non existant and water does not penetrate the seals.  Most importantly, red irritated eyes from the chlorine in the water are gone.

Used during High School swim season.  Product works great out doors in sun light even in Back Stroke.

First goggles ever that don't leak.
