They definitely intensify my work out. I originally got them so I would get better traction when running in the pool. But they are definitely an added bonus to the work out .

Try as they may to sanitize I had picked up athletics foot at my community pool and the last time this had happen was when I was a child. This shoe is light weight and true to size. When I am in the pool I do not even know I have them on.
