The holes in the bottom allow dirt to come up. Don't wear outside! The shoes look nice but the ripples hurt the bottom of my feet.
My daughter uses them for swim practice every day.
I got these to use at the gym when I shower. I love that there are holes in the soles so that the water can drain through. They are really comfy too. Lots of cushion.
Going to Mexico in a few weeks...they should work well in the oceaninstead of a whole shoe
