i usually wear a 28 but because it was down to my knee i bought a 32. I'm almost 6ft so i needed a long suit. I really liked the way it felt and it was the same material as the speedo pro but cheeper. plus i liked my design better, but on the second day on championships i got a tiny hole. i was afraid it would get bigger but it didn't. i must have got it c aught on something, but anyway i fel really good in the suit. i felt like i was flying and i did my best times of the season. i goy my bf the male version and he broke school records and did his best times. overall i was happy with this suit and im glad i didnt waste money on the speedo pro.
I was very worried when I bought this suit. I normally wear a 28-30 in a typical suit. If I followed the sizing charts I would have been like a 34, which made no sense to me. So I went with a 26 long, and it was great. It was tight, but its supposed to be, and the more I wore it, the easier it was to put on.
Like with all suits, sizing is the huge issue. I bought this suit for two of my children and had different experiences with both. My older daughter had a more adult female body and usually wears a 30 or 32 in a suit. She opted for the 32 in the speed suit even though we were told to size down. I doubt she could have ever gotten a 28 on as the 30 was almost nearly impossible to even get her legs into without fear of ripping the suit.My younger 14 year old is slimmer with few curves and usually wears a 28. She ended up with a 26 as the 28 seemed too long in the torso. Both girls felt the band around the knee area to be so tight that they felt like their circulation was cut off. My younger daughter's coach did not want her to wear the suit again as this tightness she felt was affecting her kicking. Great - $165.00 down the drain.I will never get my kids kneeskins again. Regular fastskins are best.
Only raced in the suit once. I was trying to qualifiy my 50 Free for state, on my start the suit filled with water in the chest and on my flip turn the suit filled with water through my back causing me to gain time. I ordered a 24 because thats what my other racing suits are and they are extremly tight. fit fine on my legs but thats it.
Only wore the suit once. The suit fit well and felt good in the water; however the stitching around the leg cut off my circulation. I think the leg portion of the suit is fine it is just the stitching around the base of the leg that makes it too tight. So if you have skinny legs, go for it.
I felt so fast in the water. I broke records at my college and qualified for nationals which I had been trying to do, and when I bought this suit I started to accomplish my goals. The bottom of the knee is sort of small and was squeezing my leg but other than that, it's great!
