My grandson is 5 and takes swim lessons and they use the barbell.
I decided he should have one for himself at home and he enjoys it very much. It gives him a lot of confidence when using it, I have no negative comments about it.

The bar float is perfect for teaching little kids to do the freestyle stroke because the bar is small enough for them to grip. Love this item!!
