I have tried several ear plugs and I have finally found what I need. The cone shape fits my small ear canals and I can still hear. The price is right, they are soft and very comfortable. The blue color makes them easy to find. It takes a little bit of time to get them in just right, but absolutely no water gets in my ears when swimming. These would be great for kids and large adults because of their shape.
Works really good except after about 45 minutes becomes uncomfortable. Does keep water out of ears.
I tried these ear plugs, but I'm a petite woman and it just didn't quite do it for me. I have rather small features. I loved the conical shape of these ear plugs, and I wanted them to work so badly. However, they were just too big for my ears, but if you're an average size person, I'm sure it will be a good fit for you. So I've gone back to my trusty Speedo ear plugs.
I have used these earplugs for about 4 months swimming 4 days a week. I stopped wearing them because they were too long and my ears hurt when wearing a cap. But without the cap my ears didn't hurt and they stopped the water from getting into my ear. The end of one just cracked and let water in, so I'm going to look for some shorter earplugs.
These are great plugs. Easy to insert and take off; easy to clean; and they form a true seal. I prefer them to the squishy silocone kind, which take too long to mold. Only drawback is that I wish they were shorter -- that is, that they were less tapered. With the diameter of my ear canal (and I recognize I have no idea how it comares to yours, though I assume I'm about average), I find I have to insert these pretty far to get a good seal, and sometimes, that makes them less comfy than I wish they were.
These are wonderful. I've tried the wax ones which also are nice but these are easy to put in and don't allow any water in. I'm glad I bought 2 pair though in case I lose one of them.
