I use this swim guard as a safety precaution when swimming with my wife on the pond. It is also a good way to rest while on a long swim, just hold onto it- the long length comfortably fits both of us. I love the strap loop. Is is long enough to wear around both arms and loop behind my neck. This keeps it away from my throat.

This guard tube is long at 53".  It definitely stands out from other guards and tubes by its longer size. Construction is solid and standard like other tubes I've used. It will give that extra long reach in a rescue event but it is awkward to carry all day.

I LOVE my guard tube! I have a 9ft deep pool and I teach swimming lessons. This has been a blessing. I especially like the 'cut out' areas for your arms to fit into. I often hang/float on this to catch my students as they jump in. It truly holds us both up! There are buckles on it than attach to shape the tube into a circle. Also, the line is long so you can pull a student in if you choose. I LOVE IT!
