Better Than I've Expected
I've worn this suit in the 6 masters workouts in the past week and a half. The fabric is lighter and the suit fits OK. I'm surprised how fast this suit seemed, much better than the previous Durafast fabric. Now let's see how long this suit will last.
Redondo Beach, CA
Refreshing change from solid swimsuits
I swim laps regularly, and use the Euro Sporti suits primarily. A swimsuit with a bit of pattern is a welcome change in attire. This one is comfortable, and fun to wear. Well done!
This suit fits well - I've had another in the other color. I've used it in the pool for swimming laps and in salt water and it holds up well. Very nice fabric.
top notch suit!
At first I could not believe how soft this fabric is. I ordered a size 28 as usual, and this suit is cut slightly smaller than other suits, especially in the back. If you want a light, soft suit, and a smaller, more "euro" cut, you will love it. It feels great in the water and I just want to keep swimming.
Fit: Feels too small
Love the colors and the fit
A must-have suit
TYR has been putting out some really great looking prints, in superb cuts, in the past year or so, and has now become my favorite brand of swimwear. The 2 inch sides are a clear winner for this racer, and provide just the right combination of comfort, coverage, and skimpiness. That, along with the its eye-catching print, makes this suit a must-own for me. Going down one size, to a 28, is a perfect fit (I'm a 29 in the waist). Yes, this suit is slightly more skimpy than many brief-style swimsuits, but that's desirable for both style and function. The construction of this suit, like others that I own by TYR, feels sturdy and durable, but still surprisingly light (yet another plus). I hope that TYR makes more 2 inch (or smaller) cut suits, in such fun prints.
Since this suit's fabric is polyester and not nylon spandex there is a lot less stretch to it. The front looked a little too baggy to me so I ordered size 28 next time in the jungle grove black and quartz prints. Otherwise I LOVE the cut and the colors! It feels great in the water - no restricted movement. Who wants "plain jane" black all the time? Bring on the style and color! I can't wait until Tyr comes up with more prints in this cut.
Fit: Feels too big
A Perfect Fitt
This TYR all over 2" racer sits about the same on my waist as a Speedo Solar Racer. The sides are exactly 2" on my size 34 suit and fits true to size. Although not as high cut as the 1" Solar (which is actually 1 1/2") it looks as conservative as my other 3" swim briefs. The front does not have a seam and draws less attention to that area. The good news is it is also very comfortable to swim in, with great leg movement. It seems to combine the high cut sides of an European suit with a higher waist (more conservative) suit. A winner in my book. The material is a little thinner than some of TYR's other suits, but I feel the durability will be good.
The Perfect Brief
This brief is great! It affords great support and freedom of leg movement. It performs well in the pool. The 2" side is just perfect. TYR has a winner here. I will buy other prints in this brief as they come out with them.
