Helps the swimmers understand why you've chosen specific execises for drylands- make drylands correlate with what you want to achieve in the pool. Focus on muscle grouping for that element of the stroke on which you are concentrating.

    I bought five copies

I gave one copy to my personal trainer in Thailand and he is helping me learn new exercises. I'm reading one copy. I sent a copy to each of my two adult children. Finally, a personal trainer at the La Jolla YMCA will receive another copy. I wish every swimmer had this book. I was so impressed I bought three other "Anatomy" books- cycling, dancing, and running-- for my adult children and grandchildren. I can't do all the exercises at present and I'll never be able to do a few. But my "dry land" routine is getting better and better. I can feel it in the pool. I bought the book to save my shoulders, but it will do a lot more than that. I wish I had read this book decades ago.
