It's unfortunate because for big women that need to wear swimming clothes that are conservative or covering all parts of the body, this was the biggest size you carried in stock and it was still too small. The size we needed is probably an average size for a woman that was 200 lbs at the height of 5'7", which I don't think is abnormal. But yet the size of 1X or 2X wasn't available, we ordered this swimwear hoping it would stretch but it didn't.

The fabric used to produce all Splashgear swim bottoms is 100% woven "peached" microfiber--the same fabric used in first-generation board shorts--which provides a modest, non-clingy fit, and which also allows the bottoms to keep their shape and not stretch when wet. The entire Splashgear line is made of 100% polyester and does not contain spandex/Lycra* due to the vulnerability of spandex in chlorinated pools. Polyester is inherently resistant to chlorine and sun damage and is a superior fabric to other fabric that contains spandex or elastane. I have two other LaFemme bottoms and they fit perfectly. I got new ones that were differently made and they are much smaller. It defeats the purpose of this outfit if it fits too snugly.

I like the roominess in the wast and hips. It is easy to pull on and the waist has a lot of flexibility. If you usually wear a XL you can probably wear a L in this. I only wish it came in plain black with just a trim on the bottom edge of the skirt to match the trim on the cuffs of the pants. That would be more chic.
