Speedo Ventilator Tote

When I started water aerobics 5 to 6 times a week I discovered I needed a bigger tote to carry necessities back and forth. I searched for a style I used to have many years ago but couldn't find it so I decided on this one. It is roomy enough for my beach towel, my shower tote and supplies, my deck shoes, and my hair and make up essentials. It has an outside zippered pocket for my phone and inside zippered pocket for my goggles and swim caps. I particulary like the ventilation holes in the bottom of the bag to help it stay dry. All in all, I am please with my purchase.

I used to use a simple cotton-canvas tote bag for my stuff. While it was great for letting my stuff air out, it was getting a little gross, so I found this as a replacement. SIZE: perfect! It fits my kick board, fins, pull buoy, caps and goggles all just fine. I also like the little compartments for my lap counter and other small items. It would also fit a towel, but I usually just carry mine. MATERIALS: They seem of good quality,. but I take issue with the description of this product as quick-dry. It does have drainage holes in the bottom, which is good, but I think the outside fabric is the only thing I would call quick-dry. The inside is an impermeable-type of lining that doesn't allow any air to pass through. If no air passes through, it's really not going to dry. I normally leave the top open/unzipped when I get home to aid drying, and still sometimes there is moisture inside the bag two days later. In summer I'm sure that won't be the case, and this really isn't a deal-breaker for me, but buyers might want to know in case the "quick dry" thing is a big deal for you (in which case, just get the basic mesh tote-bag SwimOutlet sells for a fraction of the price). OVERALL: I like it! The color is happy and I feel a little more organized and put-together as I head to the pool.
