Depending on your intention for using these they may be slightly large. If you're purchasing these for recreation I would recommend you stay true to size, as sizing down may accent our natural fat areas (unless you're lean, I'm just average). Staying true to size, there is no evident sag. If you're purchasing these for swim practice I would recommend sizing down. I purchased a small (I'm a victoria secret small) and with constant swimming I feel a slight drag. However, they stay on; they have a lining to keep them in place, and have a neutral look.

I bought this swim suit bottom in a Medium based on the Speedo sizing chart that it fits sizes 5-6 (I'm 5'3" 120 lbs) but this was more for a size 8-10, IMO. The rubber on the seams helps keep it in place, but I'm honestly not confident swimming in them. Unfortunately can't return them now that I've used them. I love the style & have bought Speedos before, but I'd definitely go with a Small next time.
