The lenses themselves are great! Nice and clear with a warm, honey colored tint that blocked excess sunlight beautifully. But in no time, my eye sockets and bony areas around my sinuses were being painfully squeezed. I have very long hair that I wear under a bubble cap so the goggles were loosened as far as they would go.That said, I definitely would not describe these as "extra large."

The huge size of these goggles makes it easier to sight when swimming in open water. They fit my head fine and I have a small head. The wide sockets were able to create a nice suction around my eyes.

I bought these to replace an older pair that fog up so much I can't really use them anymore. Although I have a very small face, these fit well and leave almost no google marks if placed so that they are below my eye socket. They are much better than masks or other " outside eye" fit googles by Speedo that still leave marks for the rest of the day. They do look large but I don't really care- they are really comfortable and do not fog( so far). I wear them outdoors on sunny days. On the hazy/ cloudy days I wear the tinted version which still blocks uv rays.

NOTHING negative about these goggles. Super comfortable on head and around eyes, great field of vision, hydrodynamic. The perfect goggle for the serious swimmer.
