The foot box was nice and soft, and the shorter blades made me work a little harder than I did with my other fins. I only wear a size 10, but I got the XL (11-13) with these, and they fit very well. I have high arches, so I always have to buy fins one size larger. The biggest problem is that the foot box tore the second time I put them on. Swimoutlet.com was good about the return, but they are out of stock on this item in my size. So I either wait to replace them, or find a different pair.
