  • 6/1/2014 Order a size up

Well made but the top is much too small around the back. Had to go a size larger and then the bottoms were too large. I like this style because the bottoms are modest but the top and bottom should be sold separately

I'm a 38D and generally wear a size 14 dress.  I purchased the XL.  The top fit well around the chest, but I was a little disappointed that cup doesn't provide more support. I prefer to keep myself strapped in tight to keep my stroke neat and cut down on drag. I'm seriously considering just buying a sports bra instead of trying to find a swim top that will work.  The bottoms were a good fit.  If I decide to keep this suit, I'll let you know how it performs in the water.

  • 5/23/2014 fabric is not elastic enough

    rating star By Sonia B.

I was disappointed. Fabric is very stiff, needs more elasticity, should order something with Lycra in it, or at least expandex. I wanted to give a try to a new fabric but I regret to say is not the best to use in a swimsuit. I like something that feels smooth, like a glove, hard. I hope they change the fabric. Also size runs small. I really loved the design.

In 1992, Scott Unsworth, a former New Zealand age-group triathlon champion, stopped competing due to a chronic back injury. Through his experience working as a swim coach, and from his first-hand experience in triathlon competition, Scott saw that the wetsuits being used by triathletes were completely inadequate for swimming, and he started a company called Performance Speedsuits Ltd.

Scott's early designs were directly inspired by his personal experience with the demands of the sport, and to this day Orca's designs and features are the direct result of working with professional athletes. In the five short years since Orca was launched in 1995 the brand was able to firmly establish itself as a favorite among the world's elite triathletes, and at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia two thirds of all triathlon competitors wore Orca Speedsuits in the swim leg of the event.

Orca products continue to be designed by and tested on athletes, not computer models, so you can be sure that the designs, materials and production techniques that go into Orca's championship-winning suits are always on the cutting edge.
