be careful with the right size
these shorts are really cute on, have a nice rise to them and are very durable. I bought 2 different sizes to be sure I got the right fit. When i put on the smaller shorts (which I thought was going to be the right size) they fit perfect however, when i went swimming with them they seem to feel smaller and too tight when they are wet. I then wore the larger next time which are a little big dry, but fit beautifully when they are wet. I am now wearing the larger ones since I like to be in the ocean a lot.

love these boardshorts!
I am usually a size 5, so I ordered both the 5 and 7 just in case, but the 5 fit beautifully. I am 5"7" and 127 lbs. The shorts are super comfy and go great with my black tankini. I only wish these came in a floral design.... I would buy more!
Cute and comfy
Fast shipping, as pictured. If you are a size 8 order a size 9. Very cute board shorts. I ordered black. Not too short. Closure is a snap with a shoestring tie, but it is not too tight-not much different then your typical velcro.

I was hesitant to order board shorts online because they often run a little short. These are a very moderate cut and fit great! I wish they made more colors! I am 44 and have a six year old who loves to play at the beach and pool, so it is nice to have shorts that are modest but don't make me feel older than I am! I highly recommend these!I am a size 6 and I ordered a 7. More colors Please!!!!!! :)
Pretty good shorts
I bought these to wear for bikini bottoms. Im anywhere between a size 13 and a size 16 pant/jean depending on the make, so I bought a 13 praying I wouldn't have to send them back, lol. They are a smidgen too tight, but they do fit - I know if I bought a larger size they'd be too big. If you want them more for lounging in, depending on your body type you might want to go up a size - for me, they will be going in the water a lot and nothing is worse than dragging huge shorts through the water while you're trying to swim, so Im keeping them. They look really nice on (I got the white ones) but they are very see through and do not have any built in panties or bikini bottoms, so definitely wear something underneath because they'll be even more transparent when wet. I have really long legs (37" inseam) so the 3" inseam on these is really short, but not revealing at all, still covers tush and inappropriate areas. This was also the best price for these shorts.
Fit: Feels too small
great bathing suit !!
perfect for the person who doesn't like to show off butt / legs but still feel sexy enough for a bathing suit not made for your grandmother :)
Quality Good....Size Off
I'm normally a size 3-5 in Juniors, and size 2-4 in women's. I ordered a size 5 in these shorts. They were tight! Difficult to get on over the hip area...so if you are a hippy girl.....size up or choose something else. They seemed to be good quality and were very cute.
Love the fit!
These shorts are great. fit over my bathing suit. They are comfortable and the fit is just right for me. thanks!

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.
Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.
