  • 1/29/2013 Good product

    rating star By particle 8

This product is excellent for lap swimming.  It did not feel like it slowed me down a bit, but was part of my body.  Definitely like the sun protection.  Only problem was getting it off takes a bit of work.

  • 1/14/2013 Tighter then I thought it would be

    rating star By Dan

It a nice shirt but really tight.  I normally wear mediums and bought a large in this, and it's hard to get into.  Order larger then normal and possibly two sizes larger if you gained winter weight in some area.

  • 11/19/2012 Always reliable

    rating star By Lynn

My son wears this rash guard to swim in a chlorinated pool.  It lasts about a year with consistent use of about 4 + hours/week before it stretches out to the point where we have to purchase another one.  I think it's about the longest lasting swim shirt we can find that's not too heavy but still keeps him warm.  Good stuff!

  • 6/24/2012 good purchase

    rating star By carley

My husband is using the shirt to prevent sunburn mostly. It's a bit snug, glad that he got a medium. But it's a GREAT shirt.

  • 12/19/2011 Will work

    rating star By Sarah D.

Skin tight fit, like a rash guard should fit.
Only complaint is the description includes a board short connector. This top does not have one. Will add our oen.

ABOUT THIS BRAND

O'Neill

Jack O'Neill began surfing in 1952, before functional surf apparel was invented. While working for the Army Air Corps, O'Neill discovered neoprene foam in a DC-3 airplane. He then combined the neoprene carpeting with duct tape to create the first neoprene wetsuit.

Demand for O'Neill's neoprene wetsuits grew rapidly and he began a business selling the O'Neill wetsuits out of his garage. By 1980, he was a leader in the beach apparel industry with a thriving business. Since then, O'Neill™ has become a widely recognized and respected brand in the surf industry, continually creating new and innovative products. In addition to O'Neill wetsuits, they carry O'Neill boardshorts, O'Neill dresses, O'Neill hats, O'Neill rash guards, O'Neill swimsuits, O'Neill water shoes, O'Neill sandals, O'Neill life jackets and O'Neill t-shirts.

In addition to his business success, O'Neill also created a non-profit foundation for kids. O'Neill developed the O'Neill Sea Odyssey Program: a free, educational cruise that introduces kids to the microbiology of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary, beginning at Jack O'Neill's doorstep.
