so in love
These shoes are truly unbelievable. I am new to barefoot, so I wanted something with some cusion. These are perfect. They are the lightest weight shoe I have ever worn, yet they are suprisingly comfortable and supportive. They are roomy but stay on perfectly and do not rub my heel. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and that is what I ordered. I hope these are still available when I need a new pair!

Minimalist shoe with cushioning my older joints need
I have been wearing Merrell Pace Gloves for over a year and love their fit and road feel. What I did not love was the joint pain I would experience in my aging knees and hips on high-mileage days. These Bare Access Arc shoes have been the answer for me - they provide a similar minimalist fit as the Pace Glove, with just enough cushioning to reduce my joint pain. I now have three pairs that I rotate (charcoal, green, and fuchsia). Fit is similar to Pace Glove with just a hint more room and length in the toe box (I always order a full size up from my dress shoe size). The bright colors are fun, but not too obnoxious. The price, quick shipping and packaging from runoutlet.com were top notch.
Love Love Love These Shoes!
These shoes feel as comfy as slippers straight out of the box, but still perform well out on the road!

From its humble beginnings, Merrell has grown into a well respected active footwear brand. In 1981, Randy Merrell created his first boots. Those boots were deemed the best ever made by his customers. Soon after, word spread about Merrell's comfortable go-everywhere boots. Backpacker Magazine named them "the most comfortable and functional boots in North America."
In 1989, Merrell went global. First introducing its boots to the U.K. and then spreading across Europe. The company's staff grew and so did its customer base. In 1995 Merrell joined with Vibram® to introduce its lightweight, long-wearing and flexible soles into Merrell's high-performance footwear.
Merrell recently celebrated its 30 year anniversary with the launch of Merrell Origins. The brand and its partnership with Vibram® has continued with the launch of Barefoot, a collection of low-profile, 0mm heal drop shoes for all your outside adventures.
