I am a little disappointed in the range of the sensor from the unit. Only about 8-10 feet. It also does not update changes in temps very quickly and seems a couple of degrees warmer than the actual temperature. I don't know why Garmin makes us by a sensor when temperature is being recorded in the unit but they give us no way of accessing it. There is also no on/off switch so you have to remove the battery when not in use to keep from draining it.
