The FINIS™ Lap Track allows a swimmer to keep track of laps, split times, and calories used while continuously swimming.

This innovative device is simple and easy to use. Attach the entire unit to the wall to begin. Then press every time you pass it to obtain split times. When the set is completed, press the stop button. Lap Track displays all split times as well as your total time.

How to Attach Lap Track to Your Pool: (1) Suction to the side of the pool. (2) Attach the arms to the lap track and have it hang over the gutter and down into the side of the pool. (3) Attach the arms to the lap track and fill the Lap Track bag with water to hold it down while the Lap Track hangs down the side of the pool. (Method 3, shown in the alternate view, is the preferred method.)

The Lap Track is especially useful for swimmers using the SwiMP3 waterproof MP3 player. Now you can just enjoy the music without worrying about counting laps.

The Lap Track allows you to race against your best time. You can use the Lap Track alarm feature to wake you in the morning.

this timer is hard to see , no backlight. it has no on/off switch so you have to remove batteries to keep it from going off all the time. its very, very difficult to operate and program. its very large and hard to haul around. i would not recomend it.

I've had this pool lap counter for a week and I still haven't been able to figure out how to set the time, never mind to use it in the pool. Little directions, too many features, and all I wanted was something to count laps, not split laps ,calories burned data saved, ect... on top of that the price dropped $30. after I bought it

This product was difficult to read underwater, needs a backilght. It also was hard to make it stay put with the bag full of water on top of the mounting apparatus. Again, It really needs to be back lit, unless your at eye level and very close its hard to see the numbers.

We bought this to use in our swim spa - attaches fine, but not backlit so difficult to use in the dark, even though there are lights in the pool. It's also smaller than we thought it would be. This made it difficult to read and here in SK in the winter it's mostly dark when we find the time to swim. Then after less than one months use the unit allowed water in and quit working.

Overall I enjoy the product but from the ad picture it appears that the display face has light but it doesn't. That being said its difficult to see under water.

-I am a masters swimer and I use the Finis Lap Track to simply count my laps
-I have been looking for something like this for some time since I hate to try to keep track of the number of laps that I swim, but at the same time I use that information to adjust my workouts.
-It is very difficult to attach the Finis Lap Tracker to our pool. I would love to tak with someone about other methods.

Now I can enjoy the swim without having to remember which lap I am on.  I was concerned as the reviews were mixed for this product, but it appeared to do exactlywhat I wanted...keep track of my laps, so I bought it.  It appears to be doing what is is advertised to do...keep track of your laps and times.  I had some difficulty finding the correct mounting for my pool, I ended up putting it in the drain cut out, good tile to stick too,  It is working fine, and eas to tap as I make the turns.

My husband swims first thing in the morning , usually before the sun rises.  He enjoys the many functions of this product, but would like somekind of back lighting so he can see his progress in the dark.
Otherise he loves this product and has recommended it to friends.

This is the first lap counter that i´ve bought. Works great, it does the job of counting just fine. It has a lot of functions and I found it easy to get to all of them. On the other hand some things can be improved, such as visibility is greatly reduced when underwater, maybe a good backlight can help. Also, because of the size and the fact that you have to tap the screen in order for it to count, I think a wrist lap counter, like the swimmate or the oregon (both also on Swimoutlet), is just more personal and less troublesome when the pool is crowded and I have to share a lane, but thats just my opinion lol. Anyways, I´m getting the swimmate in a few days, hope it works fine as well.

FINIS is Latin for "The End" or "Finale", and it signifies in the name of this company both the developmental goals that swimmers have and the end that they strive to reach—the finish line. Founded in 1993, FINIS provides highly technical competition suits, training equipment, child water-safety products and high end goggles. Their very popular SwiMP3 water-proof digital media player is revolutionary in its streamlined design, enabling a swimmer to listen to music while practicing laps and other exercises in the pool.
