Train out loud with the newest member of FINIS, the GLIDE Snorkel. This colorful training essential allows you to swim with proper body position while strengthening your lungs on a regular basis.
The FINIS Glide is angled further back than the FINIS Swimmer''s Snorkel, allowing the swimmer to lower their head further into the water.

Hi Lisa,VO2 max is a measure of the maximum volume of oxygen that an athlete can use. It is measured in millilitres per kilogramme of body weight per minute (ml/kg/min).

Finis swimming created a great product with the Glide Swimmer's Snorkel. The "over-the-head" design is much more efficient than its side-snorkel predecessors and the length is perfect for any swimmer. Air can be easily obtained by anyone when swimming freestyle. I myself have not swam butterfly or breaststroke with this snorkel yet, so I cannot accurately review how this snorkel performs in those strokes. I have been notified about the use this snorkel has for backstrokers, but I have not yet tried that either. What I can tell you about is the snorkel's usefulness in freestyle. An individual can focus specifically on their hip and shoulder rotation without having to breathe to the side, they can kick while keeping their head down, and they can provide their muscles with oxygen during long sets designed to build muscle. However, even though this snorkel has many uses, it has some drawbacks as well. I only gave this snorkel a 4/5 due to the difficulty found in flip-turning while wearing this piece of equipment. Water fills the snorkel when the swimmer turns, and since their is no "reservoir" at the base of the snorkel like other models have, it is extremely difficult to rid the snorkel of water. It is possible that this snorkel does not have a reservoir to strengthen the swimmer's lungs (as extra power is required to remove the water from the tube), but a reservoir would have been something I would have included. Overall, I was very pleased with this product. Although the reservoir ordeal was not appealing to me, this snorkel was a great buy. It is extremely comfortable, very simple, and works fantastic!

I bought this to help me build my stamina in swimming. I swim laps 4-5 times a week as part of my fitness plan to gain strength and flexibility while losing weight. As soon as I put the snorkel on I increased from 30 to 40 laps. Within a week I was up to 50. The snorkel allows me to just concentrate on my movements. I love it, and helps with weight loss too!
Good Practice Snorkel
I got this for my son to use for swim practice. He likes the color and the usability of this item. It is a good product at a good price. If your child needs a practice snorkel, this is a great option.
The snorkel arrived on time as stated. The product is solid and of quality materials for the price. I would caution first-time users to practice mouth breathing by pinching your nose. Or do what the instructions recommend, use a nose clip with the snorkel until you are comfortable with mouth breathing.EXCELLENT product!

adjustment broke first time out
Husband likes it, but the first time out the black adjustment bracket broke so he has had to tie the plastic in a knot. Also this snorkel has no reservior below the mouthpiece, so after each lap or so needs to be drained. Color is great, but I think next time we will go with the next Finis up.
perfect for purpose
Works great for laps for those with neck problems. Much easier then having to poke up to breath. Only issues is the support beam needs to be a bit longer for me between the forehead and snorkel.
don't know what else to say.
These were really big when I was younger and now it seems they have comeback, I use this with the fulcrum paddles and tempo trainer, when I focus on hand speed and technique, works great, because you feel so fast after you take everything off! For me there is always residual water in the snorkel so its interesting trying to make sure I don't choke! I got the snorkel because I found myself breathing a lot, needed to slow down and start over with building my aerobic capacity, so this is great because I can also work on my technique as well.

Works well and fits great
I bought this for my teenage son and he loves it. He says it's easy to adjust and the mouth piece fits comfortably over his braces. His younger brother enjoys using this too and says that it really helps him with his form.

Daughter LOVES this snorkel!
My daughter is an age group swimmer and had the original yellow snorkel. We got this one to replace the old one since the chlorine and sun had turned the rubber sticky. We love the color of this new style and it has a more streamlined design. She has gotten many compliments on it and I couldn't beat the price!
