    Feels true to size

I bought the jersey for Ironman. I was looking for something I could wear from start to finish. I found it in this jersey. I can swim, bike and run with no problems. The jersey has three pockets on the back so on the bike I can take all the nutrition I need. I also like the full zipper on the front. It fits tight so no drag in the swim and no chafing on the run. It also has the skin cooler panels on the sides witch work pretty well. All in all I like the jersey and would recomend it.

I really wish this fit better.  Compression was as expected, length was great too.  Neck is very tight zipped up (purchased large and typically wear 16" neck shirts).  Biggest problem was the arm holes with relatively thick edges. They are rather abrasive and was uncomfortable to move arms.  Can't imaging running or swimming in this, but maybe I'm not used to tri jersey's since I've seen others with similar style.

Great for hot weather riding. Fit is snug, but excellent product overall

    Feels too small

I love DeSoto products, made in the USA, high quality.  This jersey seems very high quality, however it did not fit. I am 6" and have 43" chest 33" waist and large was too small.  Probably if I had a very narrow waist and slimmer physique it would fit better.  Zipper also rides very high and probably would cut into my throat area especially if worn under a wetsuit.  I know these compression jerseys fit very tight and I'm okay with that up top but  it was way too tight at bottom where the gripper bottom is and really cut into waist when on bike.  The regular Forza (without "Riviera") jersey doesn't have this and might fit as a large, but the zipper was probably a deal-breaker for me so I had to go to another brand.  An XL would likely have fit okay except it would have been very long as this jersey already rides long so as to match with the Forza Riviera shorts which are VERY low cut. The regular Forza has a little different material making it not quite as tight as the Forza Riviera (as detailed to me by DeSoto rep).

I own several DeSoto Jerseys from the Carrerra and Forza lines because of the sleek fit without digging in at the arms and neck. Some are over a decade old and still look and fit great.  In the Riviera compression tri jerseys, the fit is snug in the waist to smooth my " love handles" without being too snug in the chest. ( they are true athletic cut with the waist 7-8 inches smaller than the chest ) The length is long enough to wear them tucked in for daily wear also.

The founders of DeSoto are Emilio De Soto and Dan Neyenhuis. Emilio De Soto is a triathlete who is racing in his 27th consecutive season of triathlon competition. He is also fully immersed in his athletic lifestyle as a fitness trainer and coach. Dan Neyenhuis is an age-grouper triathlete who has been helicopter skiing for 20 years. Together, they created a company that designs cutting edge triathlon gear for triathletes, by triathletes.

DeSoto gear is designed to enhance performance in each leg of the race. The founders created the first mesh running cap, zippered tri tops, pocketed tri shorts, transition packs, tri suits, and tri shorts with discreet pads for cycling.

One of their other achievements was creating the DeSoto T1 triathlon wetsuit that is two pieces instead of one. The DeSoto T1 triathlon wetsuit was designed to make a better fit for triathletes, and each year, more DeSoto tri tops and DeSoto tri shorts are being added to the line. DeSoto is still the only company in the world that makes a two-piece triathlon wetsuit.
