My 14yr old daughter has been swimming for 7yrs and is not your typical swimmer standing 4'11", weighing 105lbs. Sizing technical suits has not always been easy for us, because she often falls inbetween two sizes. Obviously paying this kind of money, I wanted it to fit perfectly. I called Blue Seventy directly for guidance, and was told that going by weight is more important than the specific measurements. She also reiterated the suit should take at least 15-20 min to get on the first time, and would get easier after that. So reluctantly I ordered a size 20 (according to measurements, her last suit was 22). Took 17 min to get on, and it fit perfectly. This is her 3rd Blue Seventy. We have tried other suits such as Arena, Speedo but keep coming back to Blue Seventy. The Nero 14 seems a little thicker material-wise than others we have tried, which I feel provides better compression. The only thing I would like to see different is the shoulder straps a little more comfortable like some of the newer Speedo tech suits. But my daughter has had no complaints about it. Overall, my daughter likes this suit better than the 450-500$ suits sold by Arena and Speedo. It's all personal preference, but don't overlook this suit!! One last word of caution- put the suits on the carefully and the way recommended!! I have seen girls rip brand new suits getting them on the first time at a big meet. And all suits can rip- Speedo, Arena, Blue Seventy... We have never experienced it, but have seen it more than once. Always carry a back up!

Great fabric and fit
This is my 11-y-o's first high-end kneeskin and it is great. Last season we got the $1xx Arena, and the fabric on this suit seems much more resilient or sturdier. The fit is great. She's 4'10, 90lbs, long torso, no hips but very large shoulders & chest (not breasts) we got the 22 because she wanted to be able to get it on and off easily - it takes her less than 6 minutes. The top comes up nice and high and is plenty wide enough. She tried it out at a mid-season meet at peak training and still got 3/5 best times. We're using this one for her champ meet!

Tried others.....Always return to BlueSeventy
My daughter's first tech suit was a Blue Seventy at 10 yrs oldIt is a perfect suit for tall, very thin, no curves girls. She has tried other tech suit brands and ALWAYS returns to BlueSeventy. She is 14 yrs, 5'8", 114 lbs, small chested, ,no hips, & tiny hiney. She wore a 24 last year & is getting same size this yr.Never had any seam problems or any other problems as we have with other brands.Always brings best times. Ordering her Championship BlueSeventy now. .....
Happy Swim Mom
Thought it was great, until
Until the 2nd time I flip turned and my breast fell out on a 400 Free. Each 25 meter turn I had to tuck them in. Got a Silver. Thanks. Talked to another wearer at the meet (Worlds Senior Games) and she said she taped hers in. I did the same but wasn't effective. You really have to be flat chested to wear this suit. Getting a smaller suit wouldn't work nor would getting a larger suit. Wasted money. Looks great on....Doesn't work in water
I just borrowed this suit from my friend for state and shaved 4 sec. Off my 100 free for a time of 1:02.98!! It was soo hard to get on but it was worth it... also it is a little big around the armpits but my friend did some pulling tugging and adjusting and fixed it idk how long they last but i was very scared to rip it since it was so hard to get on.. very good suit though.

The key is getting the right size. My daughter is 5"7" and 103 lbs. She got a size 20 and it is PERFECT! She shaved 3.2 seconds off a 100 breaststroke and .85 off a 50 free wearing this suit at her conference championships. If in question, go down a size. This has better coverage on the top than the Nero TX, and the fabric is far superior than any other technical suit we have purchased. My daughter is not busty whatsoever (32A), and this suit had no gapping through the bust as others described.
This suit was overall very good and compressed my butt which was very important. The only con on this suit is that it is big in the chest and bags a little when you turn to breathe. But still, I dropped lots of time wearing it. Don't know if the suit mentally makes me faster or technically. Probably both.
Very good suit! Use the size chart for best results. But it is a little "baggy" around the armpit. Once you get in the water the suit has very good compression around the chest area. Dropped time using this suit.
This suit has a lifespan of only 3 months - Not Cost Effective
Sadly I post this review as have been a true advocate of Blueseventy in the past. I have purchased 4 Nero 14 suits and after having one fail after only 5 swims have deemed this suit not cost effective. 5 swims for a $375 suit equates to $75 per swim - too expensive for my pocketbook. With the crutch adhesive giving way the suit is unusable. Of course I contacted Blueseventy to determine if this was a manufacturing fault - the answer returned - no! As pointed out to me by Blueseventy and hidden deep down in their website you will find that this suit has a life span of only 3 months.Caring for this suit as per all their recommendations does nothing to increase the life of the suit. Very disappointing!!! We have moved to Speedo Fastskins and may even try Arena.
Value for money
My daughter has swum in Blue Seventy's for many years. The product is consistent and gives her the confidence to swim at her best. Compared to other race suits on the market this suit gives the same compression and advantages without the huge price tag. Blue Seventy all the way!
