I sometimes even forget I'm wearing these beauties!!! Give a good workout and fit my extra wide feet....don't strain my ankles or foot at all! Highly recommended!!!!
I bought these for my son who is on his high school varsity swim team after a lot of research. He has never had a blister with them which is a usual problem with fins. His teammates have said these fins are "obnoxiously good fins" which is pretty good in high school terms! They don't break or split. Sort of like buying a good pair of Italian shoes.
The best equipment what else can I say.
Took a while to get used to them, but then found them very comfortable and quite useful. Have done quite a few triathalons and regular swimming and they will be very helpful in any area.
Great product, gives your legs a terrific workout
I am s size 7 womens shoe - got the xs but will keep them - just wear a lycra sock to keep from rubbing. I think they will loosen up. Fabulous propulsion - DEFINITELY WORK THE THIGHS - QUADS WILL BURN. Amazing - and no knee pain. Something about them being so short and the propulsion make it super easy in the pool to get an amazing workout - flipturning is a breeze -and I do it WITH a snorkel. First fin that has allowed me to do it. They are the big guns. I do you to a tiny fin when I want to work out the shoubers as these really make your workout more aerobic and more leg. Love them. Strong enough for open water but I am not sure I will see. Very heavy fins
Best fin I've ever use, but then I've only used 2 other styles (cheapo fins from local sporting-goods stores). Focuses work on larger muscles front, back and sides of thighs and into glutes better than my other fins. Creates quick and smooth movement through water (these fins are fast!). Seemingly equal work up- and down-stroke. Medial ligaments on knees are very sore and not sure yet what the problem might be - why went with 4 stars. Sizing online purchase seems problematic: purchased size recommended in chart. I wear a women's size 8 shoe and the M fins are loose (too loose for socks to help), so they seem to drag on my foot a bit, but don't slip off. Last time I bought fins online, they were way too small even though followed chart. Wish Swim.com did size exchanges rather than having to return/reorder.
I like my new fins so far
I have EEE feet and these don't cramp me at all. I have a size 10 and they are a just a tad big but with thin booties, perfect. Lots of flex so ankles don't get stiff.
I haven't used fins since college and those were the red zoomers....needless to say, I haven't used fins since college! My masters team wears fins a lot so I looked into the Australian ones but then found these arenas. These are flexible, easy on my ankles and give me propulsion that I need, but still make me work. I will be using fins more often to focus on my underwaters and streamlining. The turns took some getting used to but overall-buy these fins. Great price, great fins.
