I bought these for my son who is on his high school varsity swim team after a lot of research. He has never had a blister with them which is a usual problem with fins. His teammates have said these fins are "obnoxiously good fins" which is pretty good in high school terms! They don''t break or split. Sort of like buying a good pair of Italian shoes.
The best equipment what else can I say.
Took a while to get used to them, but then found them very comfortable and quite useful. Have done quite a few triathalons and regular swimming and they will be very helpful in any area.
Ok--NOT TRUE TO SIZE. Let me expand on that--I ordered the XL 13-15 size; what arrived was the XL 12-14 size! I wear a 13EEEE shoe size, and these fit fine, but someone with a larger foot size probably won''t be happy. The sizing information should be corrected to reflect the actual available sizes. Now, these are great fins--short, stiff, and move you along fast! My old training fins are TYRs and they are pretty flexible, requiring a lot of leg strength. The Arena Tech Pros are a vast improvement for distance swimming.
I sometimes even forget I''m wearing these beauties!!! Give a good workout and fit my extra wide feet....don''t strain my ankles or foot at all! Highly recommended!!!!
I bought this particular pair for my daughter, afer buying a pair for myself. I have offered my review below:I bought these fins to replace a torn pair of Speedo BioFuse fins. Was recommended that I get the Hydro Finz Training. As there was a new model out, I did some research and found that these fins are the same in design and functionality (best I can tell) for 1/2 the price. Being a fan of Arena gear this was awesome news.Compared to my older fins, these fins are much faster due to their design and construction. My ankles thank me. The silicone material makes them very comfortable and quite flexible without being ridiculously easy to generate speed. The footbox is roomy, and the size seems to run true. Took a few laps to get accustomed to the positioning of the strap on the back, as opposed to a foot cup on ''normal'' fins. No big deal, as the material is soft and comfortable, so no issues there.I am very happy with the fins to date. Will have to update after some more workouts.
best fin ever
they don''t float in fresh water lakesmaybe they do in salt water???
