  • 12/9/2015 Price-wise, perhaps the Best tech-suit

    rating star By Futago Oyaji

My 13 years old son wears size 26 for regular jammer, and I ordered size 24 for this one.  It was really tight, took about 3 minutes to put it on, but he says it feels great in the water.  He was able to get a state champs qualifying time in one more event.  Price-wise, perhaps the best value.

    rating star By MK

This is my fourth tech suite but the first time with the Arena brand. I've heard great things about the brand but I couldn't even get the suit up my leg and I bought my usual size. I was disappointed the first time in 3 years That I ever had to return an item

  • 4/6/2016 Great Suit, Price is Awesome!

    rating star By Ace0703

This suit got me through a three-day meet, wearing it during finals of each day. The first day, it took me between 10-15 minutes to get on, and I was sweating just trying to do that. (30 practice suit, ordered a 26, which was definitely the correct size.) The suit felt absolutely unlike any racing suit I'd used before, (Best tech suit before was Hydrospeed 2 by Fina) The compression was awesome, it kept my legs going throughout my longest race, and the water repellent was honestly a huge surprise. I had never swum with a suit with such a well developed hydrophobic material, and it felt amazing. However, by day two, there was a noticeable decrease in compression, and it took only 5 minutes to put on. Day three was even worse, taking even less time to put on, and a much less shocking compression and water repellency. IN conclusion, though, at the end of a three-day meet, my R-evo+ was comparable to the Hydrospeed 2 when it was brand new, and that, among everything else as well made this suit worth the price.

Great Suit, very tight on waist and legs. Good water repellency and compression. Dropped time in all my events and got first in two. Overall great suit for amazing price!

  • 3/18/2015 Excellent speed suit

    rating star By Stinger93

Must size down 1 size below practice jammers (28 to a 26).  First meet with suit and times improved.  Third day of second meet and suit seems to be losing its water repellent characteristics.

  • 3/18/2015 Good Suit, Worth the Money

    rating star By Swim mom

I bought this suit for my son's sectional meet upon recommendation of another swimmer.  As recommended, one size below his regular suit size was a perfect fit.  As with all tech suits, it was very difficult for him to put on, taking sweat and breaks, and at least 10 minutes to roll and inch up.  But it was worth it, he swam top finals in all events and shaved upwards of at least a second off all events.  And on those 50's, swimmers know one second is a lot.  So glad I chose the royal blue color, very nice standout so that there was no choice but to make top times.

  • 3/2/2015 Detailed review

    rating star By Comsumer

    5'11, 150lbs skinny guy /Practice suit size 30
    Sizing:
I bought a size 26, but honestly I could have bought a 28 and it would have been just fine. It took about 10 minutes to put on, which isn't too bad. I would recommend only sizing down once though.
    Performance:
With a good taper, rest and the suit, I was able to drop 1.5 seconds in all my 100's and half a second in the 50. After the second time using it, the beading of water was less noticeable, and completely gone the 3rd time. I've used it 4 times (long sessions) so far. The suit has still held up pretty well. An issue is when pushing off the wall, water enters in the back. Not sure if it tampers performance but it was noticeable.
    How it looks:
This suit is raised much higher in the back which may seem a little odd. Also, it makes your bottom look very scrunched up and flat, which may look a little silly to some (just my opinion).
    Overall:
Great suit for the price (Bought it for 165 at the time), I would not recommend it if it was over 200$ though.
