The Carbon Pro Jammer is Arena's updated FINA approved racing jammer that combines carbon fibers and intelligent compression to help you compete at your best. To deliver a breakthrough solution to the compression challenge, Arena has incorporated carbon fiber into the weave of the POWERSKIN Carbon Pro fabric.

Please Note: Due to the tight nature of the fabric, you may want to order one size up from your usual technical suit size.

  • Short leg jammer.
  • FINA approved.
  • Intelligent muscle compression:
    1. This protective grid regulates stretching and stiffens when the fabric reaches a critical stress level.
    2. Increases support and control where needed.
  • Power return construction:
    1. Strategic placement of internal tapes and low profile bonded seams ensure maximum power out of dives and turns.
    2. Unprecedented fit and free, easy feeling against the skin.
    3. Internal tapes on the legs aid 'spring back' action following each kick and turn.
    4. Tapes also assist in stretching prior to your race.
    5. Internal tapes placed at key areas provide maximum power out of dives and turns.
  • Optimum fit and freedom of movement remain at all times.
  • Minimum surface drag.
  • Ultimate drag reduction.
  • Water repellent coating.
  • Low profile bonded seams.
  • Mechanical resistance and durability:
    1. Integrated carbon threads ensure a stronger, more powerful fabric.
    2. Reduced chance of tear when putting it on.
  • Carbon fibers help neutralize electrostatic discharge on muscles.
  • POWERSKIN Carbon Pro endures stretch while remaining comfortable against the skin.
  • Maximum compression for support and control.
  • Improved surface integrity:
    1. High-performance woven fabric reinforced with carbon fiber delivers the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio for combined speed and power.
    2. Preservation of the integrity of the suit's surface in turn maximizes drag reduction and optimizes water repellency.
  • Outer shell: 52% Nylon / 47% Elastane / 1% Carbon.
  • Inner lining: 65% Nylon / 34% Elastane / 1% Carbon.

    Feels true to size

My son bought this suit for the state champ meet and to try and break a minute in the 100 breaststroke. Not only did he break a minute (58.8), but he earned a AAAA in the 200 breaststroke as well. He loves this suit!
As for sizing, we ordered one size bigger than his other racing suit and were glad we did. Perfect fit!

My son wore this suit to compete at YMCA Nationals last week.  The suit performed well and so did he!  Thanks to your expedient free shipping, it arrived in plenty of time.

This suit was used for my midseason taper back in December and I wore it at finals in all my events, after wearing the lzr elite in prelims. I went faster in everything at night except 100 and 200 breaststroke and the 200 IM. This suit felt great in butterfly and freestyle but restricted my flexibility for breaststroke kick. It may have been a different story if I would have gotten a 28 instead of a 26. I was 6"0 150 at the time. The only thing I wish this suit had, is better buoyancy and water repellency. It doesn't feel like you are getting as much glide and lift as the lzr.

    Feels too small

We ordered a size up from speedo brief sizing and it was too small.  We then ordered a size up from other tech suits and it fit fine.  Results were excellent with big drops at the state qualifying meet.

I have worn tech suits and i thought they were all hard to get on as they should be. But this one is SUPER small i sized up and it was like a size down still from my regular tech suit size, But all and all excellent suit!!!

    Feels true to size

This is our second purchase of this suit.  My son loves it, says he can 'feel' the difference in the water with this suit compared to other tech suits he wears. Got slightly more wear out if this suit compared to other tech suits he has worn. For him, we found ordering up a size from the size chart fit best. His training suits are a size 28, he wears a 26 in this suit. (He wears a 24 in speedo's Fastskin just for reference) Takes him about 15 minutes to get it on... And it does sit low on the hips.

I used this suit as a 13 year old at states and plan to use it again in the summer at the tri-county championships. It was an amazing suit feels very true to size. I am 5' 10" wear a 30 practice suit and bought a 30. I could have gotten away with a 28 if I wanted a tighter suit however I do not like EXTREMELY tight suits and the size 30 was perfect for me. It can take 5-10 min to get on as any tech suit can. Overall extremely nice suit, would recommend.

    Feels true to size

The Arena sizing chart on SwimOutlet is wrong when it comes to the Powerskin Carbon Pro suit for boys! This is the third Arena Powerskin Carbon Pro suit I ordered for my son in the past 2 weeks. He normally wears a size 28 brief / size 30 jammer and everyone mentioned to size down one size for a tight fit.  The first two suits were WAY TO SMALL. The size 28 couldn’t get past his knees and the size 30 stop right under his butt. With Boys State a few days away I needed to get the third suit size right. I found on the web a different Arena Powerskin Carbon Pro sizing chart (see attached photo.) We ended up ordering a size 34 and it fit nice and tight. My son dropped 2-3 seconds in two different events at Boys State. He’s VERY happy with this suit (once we found the right size.) If you order a Arena Powerskin Carbon Pro use the chart below and remember, this suit will not stretch around the waist…not even a 1/8” of an inch!

I dropped so much time with this suit. It's mainly for Flyers & Sprint Freestylers but it can work for Breast as well. I recommend to get 4 sizes up from your Speedo LZR size. I wear a 24 LZR Pro & I had to get a 28 Carbon Pro. Also, my first day using this in competition wasn't that impressive so I recommend you trying it out in the pool a couple days in advance.
