  • 5/19/2014 Recommended tech suit

    rating star By GuilleSmith

In the beginning it is kinda hard to put it on, i would recommend putting it on slowly and without pulling it to hard. Once you have it on it feels very tight the first time you wear it, which can be good for swimming. However, it stretches out as you use it. It feels very good underwater and you can feel how your legs float a little more when you have it on.

  • 4/14/2015 Great suit, trust the size chart

    rating star By Juan R.

Suit is the best possible for when it comes to compression and water repellency. The suit is pretty comfortable and worked best for me in my breastroke events (what stroke the suit os really best for). Overall recommend it and do trust the size chart. Will be a hard to put on.

  • 3/1/2015 Carbon Flex

    rating star By B

The carbon flex was a pretty great suit. I have ordered the carbon pro in the past, size 26, but decided to get a size 28 flex. Upon receiving the product, I saw that it was slightly bigger in size than I would have expected, probably due to the update of the waist from being a normal low cut to a slightly high waisted fit or more seams in the crotch area. When I put the suit on, the compression felt great and it was really comfortable, however, it felt different than the carbon pro did in the crotch area. It did not feel as tight. This may have been due to the fact that it was a size smaller than my carbon pro and that it is a higher waisted suit than the pro. When I swam with the suit, some water felt like it snuck in and pooled in the crotch area when doing a breastroke kick. I think that this minor inconvenience can be corrected by buying the right size. Everything else about the suit is great. The water repellency is very nice, but the compression is really what makes this suit better than others. Next time I am going to order a 26 instead of a 28.

  • 2/23/2015 Great Suit

    rating star By Swimmer

My Son wore this suit for his District and State meets. Dropped time in both meets. It runs small, so size up. The first time my Son wore this suit it split on A leg seam, but I called swim outlet and they had another suit out in the mail the same day , with no questions asked. Great customer service!

  • 2/23/2015 Swim Outlet should seriously think about dropping the Price

    rating star By John

Swim Outlet should seriously think about dropping the Price to 250 or 200 so many people would b able to buy this suit and they would make so much more money! I was unable to buy this suit due to the ridiculous price i would buy it if it were 200 or 250 dollars please drop the price!!!

  • 2/22/2015 Awkward fit, hard to notice any performance difference than normal racing

    rating star By Backstroker 1066

This suit let me down but swim outlet did not--Here's my story before you invest your hard earned money.  I'm 15, I do club and high school swimming. I'm a B+/A- level swimmer--so not the fastest special prodigy kid on the club, but I'm highly competitive at  4A high school teams.  I'm a backstroker--that's my money swim . For districts, I wanted a fast suit to help knock off the last couple seconds and have an edge. I saved my money for an Arena, because it's supposed to be the best. I ordered a 28 because conventional wisdom says to size this particular suit up one size and I usually race in a 26. I am 6;0 150 pounds--tall and skinny. AND most of my club friends built like me wear the 28 with no trouble. It fit snug and I thought it was all fine. I got in the water for my IM swim at leagues and after the first 50 yards, it starting filling up with water. Disaster! I was like the Titanic and put on 5 seconds. I stripped out of that suit as fast as I could and switched suits for the backstroke.
We ordered a 26 Arena  for districts and swim outlet generously refunded my money for the 28--it might have been a defect with the suit. Thanks swim outlet!!! That was very kind of you and this hard working 15 year old thanks you.

The good news from districts is that I made it the A final in the back. The bad news is that I didn't drop the last 1.5 seconds I needed.  Times wise, I swam no better in this suit than I did in my standard middle of the line tech suits that I wear for 'regular' racing.  I might suggest that you will get quality race assistance from suits that cost less. I am not dazzled by what my money bought me but I am grateful for swim outlet's help.

  • 2/9/2015 A bit snugged

    rating star By Abby

My son wore his suit for a championship meet, he felt a bit stiff in the suit but he managed to take time off his 100 free and 200 free events(not his best times).  He will wear it again in another month.  He is willing to give this suit another try, hopefully he'll feel more comfortable in the suit.  He wears a 27 in Speedo but according to Arena's size chart, he's a size 28.  I never thought of sizing up, because the suit is suppose to feel snugged.  Will update my review in a month!

  • 1/24/2015 Great suit

    rating star By Juan R.

Got this suit (i am a breastroker) for my state/regional meet and went best time by 2 seconds from orevious championship meet. Warning: if you see yourself qualify for the smallest possbile size, get it. Ex: if you're waist measures 26 amd option A is 24-26, and option B is 25-27, go with option A. Water repellency and compression are the best I've ever felt
