Ideal for global travel, the Slipstream Pack utilizes the most advanced technology in bag construction for enduring the elements.
Use: Motorcycle daily commute to and from work.Pros: Very good hiviz waterproof backpack. Fit and construction appear to be top notch. Backpack has kept my laptop, electronics and paperwork dry during commutes through daily NC summer storms. Sewn in laptop specific sleeve keeps laptop held firmly in place. Hiviz yellow is extra bright for visibility when on the bike.Cons: Small lower pockets are too small and oddly shaped to allow storage of most items except key rings etc and change. The vertical front zippered pocket is somewhat difficult to use based on it''s size and location.Improvements: Front pocket could be configured with a zipper like the main compartment for easier use and storage of secondary items. Backpack could really be improved with external pockets specific for smart phones and ipods.

Founded in the 1960's in Italy, Alpinestars was created by Sante Mazzarolo, a leather craftsman. Around the same time of Alpinestars' founding, the popularity of motocross was sweeping Europe by storm. Mazzarolo saw motocross as a golden opportunity to create advanced footwear that catered to the needs of motocross athletes. He was able to create a boot that soon became the standard for motocross protective footwear.
The innovative nature of Alpinestars soon caught the attention of athletes everywhere and Alpinestars secured their first brand ambassador along with many sponsored athletes as time progressed. Alpinestars has evolved into other areas of motorsports and now even produces products for Formula 1 racing. With a constantly evolving company, Alpinestars continues to live by their commitment of producing inventive products for the many levels of motorsports.
