                                          ABOUT Channel Islands

Founded in 1969, Channel Islands Surfboards started off as a small grass-roots operation but has since transformed into a leading, privately-held organization for high quality surf products. Channel Islands appeals to dedicated surfers by determining what latest designs are desired by the surfing community. Once aware of the evolving needs of surfers, Channel Islands creates boards and other products to satisfy those needs. To show their commitment, Channel Islands works with professional surfers such as Kelly Slater to create surfboards that a professional would use.

In addition, they strive to construct cutting-edge, high quality surf products, regardless of skill level. New and experienced surfers alike can find a design right for them. Channel Islands is located in sunny Santa Barbara, California where they provide jobs to the community while producing top-notch equipment.
