Janet Evans – Janet is a former Olympian, specializing in mid- to long-distance events. She has been a big name in the swimming world since the 80’s, and continues to compete to this day. Amanda Beard – Amanda is a seven-time Olympic medalist and is a phenomenal breaststroker. She has been on the National circuit since 1996, when she was merely 15 years old. We should also recognize USA Swimming's progressiveness. Their rules to allow branding on the "front" of swim caps is a major boost for an athlete's ability to get more revenue from their sponsor. Kudos to them. Hopefully the IOC follows suit. Through the strong support of their sponsors and the swim community, these athletes are really able to reach their full potential.
