Spiraledge, Inc., the parent company of popular E‐commerce sites SwimOutlet.com, RunOutlet.com, SurfOutlet.com & YogaOutlet.com, has been recognized as a Gold‐Level Fit‐Friendly Worksite at its headquarters in San Jose, CA, by the American Heart Association for helping employees eat better and move more.

"Physical activity and employee wellness are important priorities at Spiraledge. We are honored and excited to be recognized by the American Heart Association as a Gold‐Level Fit‐Friendly Worksite," said Avi Benaroya, Spiraledge, Inc. CEO. "We're committed to providing the best workplace environment possible. This will benefit our employees' health and produce even more positive results for our worksite overall."

Spiraledge employees are given the opportunity to take part in four different yoga and fitness classes each week; regular pilates will be added this spring. The company also provides a comprehensive gym and workout space for use by employees. Company employees are permitted - and even encouraged - to take breaks for exercise including running groups that run behind the office on the Guadeloupe River Trail. The company recently sponsored a group of runners in the 408K Race to the Row in San Jose, CA, and continues to sponsor employees interested in running local races throughout the calendar year in regional events. Spiraledge also provides healthy meal options for morning meals and several days a week at lunch.

"We take a lot of pride in living up to our company's motto to help people live healthier lives through sports and fitness," said Benayora, who is an avid Yogi himself.

The Fit‐Friendly Worksites program is a catalyst for positive change in the American workforce by helping worksites make their employees' health and wellness a priority.
