The Fastskin FS-PRO is Speedo’s latest addition to its stable of elite speed swim suits. It’s the next generation to the Fastskin FSII suit that Speedo’s swimmers wore at the 2006 Summer Olympic games in Athens, Greece. The FS-PRO is more lightweight and it has the lowest passive drag of any lightweight woven suit on the market.
The FS-PRO uses a new water-repellent fabric, LZR Pulse, that’s exclusive to Speedo. This lightweight fabric is woven from chlorine-resistant spandex and ultra fine nylon yarn. The fit is better because the sizing is done through a body scanner with computer modeling and engineering. Engineered in 3-D, the suit was designed using data gained from the body scans of hundreds of elite international swimmers.
