These earphones worked for about 6 months then died a sudden death. I find them to be very expensive for such a short life span. |

The headphones worked great for about 4 months going swimming about twice a week for a few hours each time. Then all of a sudden the headphone stop working completely. I can't imagine both left and right side going out at exactly the same time so I have to assume it's a bad connection(actually no connection) somewhere in the plug.
I just purchased H2o Audio Surge Waterproof Headphones to see if they last longer. If not, I guess listening to music will be out of the water. |

I've used the h2 model of these headphones for the past 2 years. When I got the new h3 model, I was extremely pleased with the overall sound quality - the improvement was drastic. I know to be extremely careful with the headphones. Although my i-pod nanos waterproof housing is 3 years old, I've had to replace the h2 models headphones every 9-10 months. The h3 model headphones only lasted 3 1/2 months before the sound got raspy and started cutting out. Since I was so careful with these, I was surprized that they didn't last longer. At a price of over $40, it would cost me over $120 a year in headphones!!! Needless to say, I have delayed future purchases even though I do plan to buy new headphones at some point. |

The H2O Audio waterproof Headphones are generally OK but they are frustratingly weak in the earbud department. They continue to pop out of ones ear canal causing water to enter and greatly degrade the audio sound. The plastic headband is even worse. I had to remove the earbuds from the band to gain performance. Possibly adding different sized earbuds to the kit would be helpful, for what they charge for the item. |

I use these headphones for the simple fact that they are waterproof so they will not get messed up if I happen to get caught in the rain while I'm on my bike or running, and since I will be sweating a lot while I am using them. I had to get a new pair because I had the edition before these and there was a short in the cord after so much use. I like the fact that the H3 edition has a longer cord so the issue of having a break in the cord should not be there. However, I am less than satisfied with the way the headphones fit. They are very narrow and do not fit in my ears as well as the other ones I had. They changed the way they fit over your ears so I think that has something to do with it. I would prefer my old headphones combined with the cord length of the new ones. |

Ordered these with the IPOD Waterproof Houseing. I like but the ear plugs fall off too easily... I have had to search the bottom of the Pool on several occasions since I used. |

I have attempted to swim with these headphones 2x. The first time I lost one of the rubber covers that goes on each ear bud. That's the biggest issue. With other waterproof headphones the adaptors do not come off so easily. You do get two pair of these covers, but I am down to one pair. I am looking online to see how I get replacements.
I did swim a few laps the second time with the earplugs but after a few laps took it off. I couldn't hear the music anyway.
Overall due to the headphones I do not think I'll end up using my ipod for lap swimming. If I aquajog these will work. |

They're not awful, but the earbud issue is driving me nuts. They don't fit into my ears exactly, so I usually spend time each lap fiddling with them to keep them shoved painfully into my ears so I can hear the music. I am also down to a single pair, and they don't offer replacements on SwimOutlet. |
