I use this product to train in for triathlons, this trunk is great! It is shorter in length than it appears in the picture but I think it is the perfect length. It does ride up a little after exiting the water but easy to "adjust". I would recommend this trunk.
This suit is the best I've had from TYR. The polyester isn't too thick and the square leg cut is great for someone like me who doesn't want to wear and brief and whose legs are too bulky for a jammer. The full liner took a little getting used to but is okay. overall, a great suit for training/lap swimming.
This is my first purchase of a training suit, so I don't have anything to compare it too, other than the tri suit that I used to train in at the pool. My tri-suit was becoming transparent after two months of pool work, so I saw a writeup for this suit in an e-mail I received from USAT. Even after reading the other reviews in regards to size, I still purchased the correct size in "my mind", but I probably should have gone with one waist size higher because it fits a little too skimpy for my comfort, but that's coming from someone used to a full legged tri-suit. The legs do tend to ride up, but the only time I adjust is when getting out of the pool. Overall, I like the suit...it's comfortable and durable, as advertised. I plan on trying out the jammer.
This suit has a great liner, and is solidly made. I did not feel much difference in size between the 32 and 30 waist. The liner brief fits well, but the square leg suit fits looser than I expected. It is not as loose as a drag suit, but doesn't fit like a jammer or a brief.
These trunks feel good, not too constricting, like jammers, but also provide a little more support than a brief. I like them because they fall between the two.
The swimsuit was exactly what I ordered but I returned it because it was to large.
More comfortable and softer fit and feel.Leg length is good, not too long or too short, but is a bit more restrictive during breast stroke than the endurance Square leg.The legs do ride up a little, but much less noticeably than the square leg.I'll definitely wear these for my next Olympic Distance Tri.
These square legs are a lot shorter than what the picture shows. This picture is not accurate at all. Don't get me wrong, these seem to be pretty nice, but they do not have a length inbetween a typicall square leg and jammer as the picture shows. I'm not sure how they hold up to chlorine, but hopefully better than the nylon/lycra type that desintegrate after a few months use. Also, I wear a size 32-33 pants and I ordered a size 34 in these. They are very tight around the thighs. I have normal to above normal size legs and I recommend going up in size. I should have ordered 36.
I got this to replace my Speedo Endurance square leg shorts. I was disappointed, I bought one size down (I always do, except for tech suits)and although it fits around the waist...the lower parts roll up during workout, so Im always having to roll the legs back down. The liner is ok, keeps you modest. It looks good, but its construction is lacking. I would spend the extra $ and just get another Speedo Endurance. I wish I could return it, but I already worn it...waste of $...
Great Look, snug in the right places
