True to size and I can tell the fabric will last longer in the chlorine. Wash in cold water only!
I swim a mile 2 -3 times a week and have had speedo suits in the past. I was looking for a suit that had the "feathered shelf bra" (I'm a 38C -D) for a little more support, but couldn't find one in a style and material I liked. I decided to try the Endurance anyway (with shelf bra only) and was very happy with. It's a great cut, doesn't ride up and gives me plenty of support on top. In fact, I liked it so much, I ordered another one. I've been using it about 2 months now and the color still hasn't faded. Great suit!
I am 69, 5'2" and I lap swim to stay in shape. The suit is great because it has a shelf bra. The problems for me are that the hips (suit) are too big and the suit is too long. I have taken a 2" tuck in the crotch and it feels better. Now I have to figure out what to do with the too long straps over the shoulders. I love the fabric.
The good: I love the fabric.The bad: I ordered my normal Speedo size but this suit was way too large on the bottom. The top fit well but the bottom was actually baggy around the butt and the leg holes were much larger than I expected (perhaps because I am short). I usually wear the Speedo Ultraback contemporary cut, which fits me much better than this suit.
Fits well. Color was as shown too. Great fabric, and has kept it's shape and color.Leg opening was a little larger than expected, but still ok.
I feel very secure in this. I love the soft cups, The leg cut is also very flattering. I do recommend buying one size larger than your "normal" size. The quality of the suit is great, but due to the material used, it does tend to pull, feeling smaller. (I had previously ordered a different suit and sent it back, this was one reason why). I imagine the material used is why it will hopefully last a very long time, though! Thank you
Comfortable suit for lap swimming.
The fit is pretty good - I did size up based on other reviews (i.e. I normally wear size 6/8 and bought a size 10 suit). The padded bust helps support, but I do feel a little over-exposed in the side boob area - this is probably gonna be an issue with all the suits cut like this. I've swam a couple of times now, and it doesn't seem to lose it's shape or fade, which is good. I should mention that my lap pool is salt water, not chlorine, so not sure how that would compare.
I use this suit to go to water aerobics, water pilates, and deep water aerobics 5 days a week. I love that fact that my suit does not smell like chlorine the next time I want to use it.
